Welcome Lighthouse Awards Subcommittee members!
This page will help facilitate your review and evaluation of submissions by our member organizations. The deadline to complete your review and scoring of submissions is Friday, August 1, 2025. We will review the final aggregate scores in our meeting on August 19, 2025.
Please review the following instructions carefully before you begin:
- Download the scoring sheet and open it on your computer.
- Each category has a separate tab/worksheet on the scoring sheet. You will score all categories.
- The submission number is located in column A on each tab/worksheet and corresponds to the submission number in the section below. For example, G1 on the worksheet will match G1 in the Grant Applications & Supporting Document section.
- The application and any supporting documentation are available for your review.
- Evaluate each Award and Grant application based on the following criteria:
- Potential to improve safety and reduce liability
- Potential to share best practices among AEIX members
- Potential to impact the severity of risk exposure
- Innovation level of the project
- Alignment with AEIX’s mission, “To partner with forward-thinking healthcare leaders to safeguard assets, enhance patient safety, and inspire innovation” and vision of “Through our collective experience and unique expertise, we will provide the leading pathway for managing risk and improving safety in healthcare.”
- Evaluate the “Professional Development” applications based on:
- How well does the education support the applicant’s organizational strategic goals as it relates to the advancement of healthcare risk management and patient safety?
- How does the education align with AEIX’s mission of “To partner with forward-thinking healthcare leaders to safeguard assets, enhance patient safety, and inspire innovation” and AEIX’s vision of “Through our collective experience and unique expertise, we will provide the leading pathway for managing risk and improving safety in healthcare”?
- Assign a numeric value of 1, 2, or 3 for each of these criteria with 3 being the best.
- Once all tabs have been completed – Save your completed scoring sheet.
- Upload your completed scoring sheet by completing the form at the bottom of the private web page. Click “Choose File” to upload your completed scoring sheet and click submit.
