Risk Management, Patient Safety & Quality Improvement Resources

AEIX is committed to supporting and improving the efforts of member hospitals by providing a broad range of resources. By providing educational and professional resources designed to specifically meet member needs, both on-site and remote, our goal is to partner with members to develop and enhance effective programs that improve safety, support quality initiatives and reduce liability.

Educational Webinars

Each year, AEIX members are surveyed to determine the most pertinent and challenging issues facing their organizations. Four to six topics are chosen and exclusive educational webinars are provided over the course of the next year. Subject matter experts are identified and programs developed to help members meet those challenges. Continuing Education (CE) credit is available, and the webinars are recorded and archived so that members can access the information at any time.

Monthly Newsletter

Signals is the monthly electronic newsletter that AEIX provides to each of its members and is a professionally curated resource that gathers current information and resources designed to assist and support the work of risk managers, claims representatives, CFOs and general counsel.

You Asked, We Answered…

AEIX members regularly request assistance with risk management research or benchmarking on specific issues, such as a recent request for information and policies relating to the prescribing and use of medical marijuana. Serving a broad range of healthcare organizations across the country, AEIX has the ability to interact with and survey member facilities on any number of topics and share results with the group, including sample policies and procedures, and best practices.
